The conference will begin at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, July 25 with a welcome by Suzanne McBride, chair of the Communication Department at Columbia College Chicago. This will be followed by a keynote address by Tim Holmes, senior lecturer in the School of Journalism, Media and Culture at Cardiff University. His talk is titled, “Analyzing the relationship between the magazine-object and the reader-agent.”
